AlertMagnet is designed to be lightweight and fast. It runs smoothly on shared cPanel hosting as well as modest $5/month cloud VPS servers.

Server Checklist

• PHP 8.2 or Higher: Compatible with PHP 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4.
• HTTPS / SSL: A valid SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt, Cloudflare, or cPanel AutoSSL). Browsers strictly mandate HTTPS for web push.
• Database: SQLite 3 (included with zero configuration) or MySQL 8.0+ for high-volume setups.
• PHP Extensions: openssl, curl, pdo, mbstring, and gmp or bcmath.
